More highlights from the @museumoficecream and good news! Additional tickets will be available for sale tomorrow as the exhibit will be extended through June!👍🍦 There are a variety of rooms to visit with its own special theme and you will always have time to take photos here. Don't feel rushed. The tickets are purchased on a time controlled schedule meaning that every half hour a new small group of people enter the exhibit together to avoid overcrowding.
The employees are all very friendly and they will tell you anything you need to know about the museum if you ask. However you're not allowed to touch certain displays such as the ice cream popsicle room or the one with mini dark ice cream cones due to possible damage and theft. Ironically and unfortunately, both actually happened when I was there right in front of me! The Neon MOIC sign was partially smashed by an overzealous attendee and a gold cone prop from an installation mysteriously disappeared!🙁👎 The best parts of the exhibit besides tasting the ice cream itself was the scratch and sniff banana wall stickers which I confirmed with an employer to be Andy Warhol inspired🕶🍌 and the giant popsicle room which was my most favorite installation! It was total rush of rainbow colored eye candy and childhood nostalgia here!💙💛💚💜❤ There any picture aesthetics to go around 📷 and the pink ice cream sandwiches (pictured top) at the end exclusively made for museum guests will make you wish for more! 💖🍨🍦#aestheticallypleasing #rainbowofcolors #childhoodmemories #icecreammakeseverythingbetter
